I’ve seen this video like 20 times (own the original DVD) and it’s the first time I realize that the footage of Lynch at 27:36 is from a previous season because in 2002 all jerseys were made by reebok

After the sneaky tweak of offensive rule changes in the late 90’s, followed by "The Greatest Show On Turf" Rams, My team the Ravens, Bucs, Titans, Steelers, Patriots, and Jaguars (Carolina was almost there) began a defensive assault on the league not seen since the 70’s. I was so happy for the Bucs. I always liked and followed them ever since they entered the league, and was as horrible as it got. Then 1979 came and Tampa showed up and started straight PUNNISHING teams. That squad was a Doug Williams just average game away from facing the Steelers in Super Bowl XIV. But it wasn’t to be and finally the L.A. Rams got there. Tampa would win another Division Championship in ’81 and endure a ass whippin the playoffs. Then the turned back into the expansion Bucs and became a joke all over again. Then Tampa started hiring decent Coaches and they became respectable again. Tony Dungy gave them total legitamacy along with a uniform change. Suddenly, the Bucs had to be dealt with. I wanted a Ravens vs Bucs Super Bowl. It would’ve been EPIC!
btw…the Bucs should be well represented in Canton. D.Brooks, W.Saap, M.Alstott. J.Lynch. Not bad…not bad at all.

When I was in 8th grade our football coach sat us all in a classroom and played this on VHS. We went 1-7, but damn were we inspired for that hour. Still one of the best football documentaries of all time.

Would have at least 1 or 2 more championships if we had just an average offense especially in the Bucs/Rams NFC championship game. Miss these days

I’m a lifetime Bucs fan. Have been since a child. I was 9 years old when they won the Super Bowl, and I’ve seen hundreds of "championship games" since SB37. To this day, when I picture a "championship team," this group always comes to mind. Every position was either stacked, or that player in their career prime. By far, one of the most dominant defenses of all time in NFL history.

Im ready fa tha 2019 season 2 kik off. Let’s go BUCS!!!

  32. Tinkey on March 1, 2020 at 11:12 pm

As a Tampa native, I wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve watched this film over 25 times. The only glimpse I got of this legendary team because at the time in 2002 I was just a baby. Hopefully I’ll be able to see another Super Bowl victory from the bucs soon because it’s long overdue for this team. Whatever happens, I’ll always have the bucs back.

  33. Corey Volcov on March 1, 2020 at 11:12 pm

Thank goodness the patriots didn’t make the playoffs in 2002 because I think they would have tried for the super bowl again

  34. Lawson McKenzie on March 1, 2020 at 11:14 pm

After this win vs the rams I needed to watch this to get that feeling back… this team is on the rise again, you can see it in the way the players are flying all over the field like the old days
