Denver Broncos Roster Breakdown and Full 7 Round Mock Draft

2021 Denver Broncos Mock Draft and Roster Breakdown

This was a tough one!! Denver is in a weird situation at QB, but I am guessing they now fully in that market with Carolina one less team to worry about, that trade up or just sitting at 9 becomes a lot more realistic, we’ll see, but let me know what you think!

Broncos fan here – fantastic video. I think you explained the Broncos QB dilemma better than any outside source that I’ve seen. Your evaluation on other needs of this roster was also really good. A few small things that in my opinion you might have missed:
    – On the video you had KJack at FS and Simmons at SS, its the opposite and the Broncos definitely need a SS more than a FS (Simmons is well known to play literally every snap in the season)
    – I think that the need for depth isn’t a constant and is really only a problem for a few positions. OL depth is definitely a need, as well as EDGE depth.
    – I love the Nick Bolton pick, but it should also be noted that Vic Fangio much prefers sideline to sideline LBs like Jamin Davis, Jewell and Jackson also don’t really have that speed.

Again, don’t take these points personally, it’s just a few things that as a hardcore Broncos fan, I noticed. Overall, this was the best Broncos evaluation from someone that isn’t a Broncos fan. Kudos!

There might be a battle for Justin Fields or Trey Lance with Denver and NE now, maybe Chicago or Washington get into the mix as well.

I believe take a qb first is a gud move I’ll take Micha Parsons first then David Mills second round or third

If we go QB it’s got to be Mac Jones! We may have to trade up to get em but Trey Lance worries me a bit and at max throws like 15-20 times a game the rest is all his legs I’m going out on a limb here but I believe he will be the next RG3 he will have a fantastic season or 2 then get injured god forbid and he will never be the same again he doesn’t work for a system that we have in place but I believe we will trade down a bit and try to get Micha Parsons get a extra 2nd round pick maybe more and give Drew another year and And get a extra second round pick to add a tackle to better protect Lock and edge rusher since it seems either Miller and or Chubb seem to always get injured, knock on wood.

I think George Paton is smart enough to let this Deshaun Watson situation sort itself out and let Drew have a prove himself year. With that being said I think if Fields drops to us somehow then YES take the gift you have been given. If not I really believe coverage LB, Surtain or Farley, OL. Also unpopular opinion I think if we land a solid RB in this draft to take the load off of Lock will help him improve too and give some of those guys under Gordon to maybe compete. Imagine if Drew could just hand the ball off to Etienne or Harris and watch them go to work. Then Drew can stand back there and make the throws he needs to I think. Personally I think in order for them to win games this year they need to put as least pressure on Drew to help him succeed as well as the team.

Think Denver def has to go for LB that can cover well like a cox or Davis

We have Risner, Glasgow, and Muti. So we don’t necessarily need a guard this year.
I think we should draft more DL, OLB, CB.
We probably will need to add more guard help next year.
