I can’t wait for this season!! I think we have a couple options of WRs that have the ability to step up into a true WR2 roll and I am pumped for it.

How does anyone cheer for a team owned by an evil billionaire when they could support one owned by the fans?

  11. Kurrency Chaser on August 22, 2020 at 12:01 am

I predict a 11-5 to 12-4 record with more comfort in Matt LaFleur offense I think we will be fine

  12. Rashad S on August 22, 2020 at 12:03 am

The worst 13-3 team was not GB last season it was the Saints! They loss to a team (Vikings) in the first round of the playoffs, that the packers swept in the regular season! Packers will go 12-4 next season! 💯

  13. Everything Sports on August 22, 2020 at 12:04 am

Why are we not looking at the big picture on these teams. The draft is only a portion of obtaining players. What did these teams do in free agency leading up to the draft? I am not sure we are getting the full picture.

San Francisco eliminated Green Bay from the playoffs three times between 2012-2019, 2012, 2013 and 2019 after Green Bay eliminated them from the playoffs four times between 1995-2001 1995-1997 and 2001.

I’m a Packers fan and I AGREE WITH the decision to get a good enough QB.
People say the Packers are tired of Aaron Rodgers but I’m pretty sure he is also tired of them as well. I was for a while.  See they really DIDN’T equip Aaron like others are. They got new receivers every year like the WRS were the issue. They weren’t. It was the Packers culture that needed to change.  The Packers have a certain (identity) style they want to win games. Packers culture style  is offense first- win specifically-by your  quarterback. Put  him in situations to be the HERO- criticize him if he falls short. Other teams went with what they had. If they had a QB who was  a runner mold him into a Thrower. Did you know Brett Farve was naturally a Running QB?  They made him throw. He did well. But I believe they should have let him run more like the sea hawks do Russell Wilson. With Packers it’s about the look. They wasted Rodgers by not letting him be himself and not putting a defense or offensive line around him. He had no protection. You know why tom Brady never got injuries? You know why he never got sacked?  He had the best offensive line in football to protect him. So he picked teams apart. His running game was adequate enough. The coach knew how to play the game and the defense was solid. Aaron never had these so he was wasted. They never fully invested in him or built a team around him. They just used his talents. What lafluer is doing now- should have been done years ago. For Rodgers it’s too  little to late. Drafting a new QB Isnt a threat to Aaron. Its backup because Aaron gets injuries too much. If he breaks his collarbone again you need a adequate backup who can actually  win some games. Enter. Jordan Love. Fafluers run first system is Better for both Jordan And Aaron. We all enjoy aaron making the throws we see but REALITY IS  he shouldn’t be put in situations where he had to make those  throws and he was because of a lack of run game. So get a good run game. It will save Rodgers years and extend his longevity. Lafluer IS Changing a culture and what we are used to. We all want throw throw throw. That has proven it won’t last long. Rodgers did it for years after his superbowl win didn’t get to another superbowl. But as soon as he got a run game?  Boom. Almost had it. Aaron is still in throw throw throw mode and has to slowly adjust to this is easier – not what I’m used to – but that’s okay and better because I’m winning and having more fun. This is what we are seeing play out. This system WILL work. Be patient. Don’t overreact. Jordan is nowhere near taking Rodgers job and his presence doesn’t mean that either. Besides there is NO reason to keep getting new Wrs. We’ve done that almost every year. Nothing good happened TIME TO CHANGE THE PATTERN- Rodgers has also proven he can make it with a weak Wr core like he HAS in the past. So why get new wrs when that doesn’t matter with Rodgers?  So they last year focused on DEFENSE like they should have all along and success!  Now they focus on Fixing holes. A backup QB here a Offensive lineman there.  Get a well rounded team not a flashy offense that repeatedly fails when it counts.
