Tyrod will keep it low scoring and mildly competitive for 10+ games. If Mills gets up to speed he’ll have 7 or so games to show the potential he showed after the knee injuries. Regardless they’ll be picking AT LEAST Top 2 next year and going somewhere between 1-16 and 3-14.

In 2022 Rattler/Willis/Whichever QB pops will be their pick. If Mills shows anything in terms of true promise or potential they can go Thibodeaux and trade back to get more draft capital. Caserio wants a completely clean slate and he’s created one by ripping the roster apart and moving contracts/money around this year.

They have plenty of options just none of them good.

    I love Houston Tejas

Plenty of options to suck if DW isn’t on the field.. 😂

They have options. Just no good ones. I love Tyrod Taylor and wish he had more success, but too many teams have found him not to be the answer at QB1. And surrounded by THAT team? With THAT ownership and front office? Those three QBs will be lucky not to all be in wheelchairs by season’s end.

People forget the draft is a crap shoot.. do your research, find your guy, and hope for the best. You only get so many picks that drafting for NEED is a horrible way to do it. I have no problems with the Texans draft picks

  7. Charles Spencer on May 16, 2021 at 1:42 am

Who??? What other options? DW4 is the best we got on the whole roster

The Texans will be years digging out after Bill O’Brien torpedoed this franchise

  9. Jared Rubino on May 16, 2021 at 1:44 am

its still crazy to think that just over a year ago this team was up four scores on the chiefs in the divisional round

  10. Andrew Kirschenbaum on May 16, 2021 at 1:45 am

I feel like Mills is there as a threat to Taylor, to push him

    Tyrod will start. And should.

He’s a decent qb. He will play really well at times. He’s generally not going to play so bad that he throws games away.

Tyrod also has a cieling as the type of quarterback that you sign in the interim when your team is figuring out the long-term guy.

He’s in that middle ground, not good enough to be a highly sought after starter but not necessarily only good as a backup.

He’s a safe choice that will keep you in games and extend plays.

Deshaun Watson will start for the Houston Texans in Week 1.

In three years there will be a meme mocking Simms for picking Wilson over Lawrence and Jones over Lance. He’s just prepping himself for the inevitable.

I don’t think anyone actually watched Mills’s film at Stanford. Joel Klatt said with a full season post covid, he easily would be the #1 QB taken next year bc he never had a full season at Stanford due to injury & then covid! He was the #1 coming out of college w/ Mond, Tua, & Mac Jones! & That was the last time he played a full season! It 100% was a steal! His college coach also coached Andrew Luck & said they play very similarly.

They have nobody to throw the ball to, nobody on defense and nobody going to be in the stands watching games there. I dint see how they win 1 game this year.

  16. Ricky Powell on May 16, 2021 at 2:13 am

Watson played out of his mind last year and they couldn’t win 5 games 😂 good luck to them other guys
