As a Cardinals fan in my 45th season as a fan, my only knock on him was that he never wanted to build a winner. Other than that I respect him greatly. RIP Mr. B

Rest In Peace Bill Bidwill, you were a great owner and gave Arizona itโ€™s first and only NFL team. You brought professional football to Arizona and we Cardinal fans will be forever grateful. Your legacy will continue to live on and hopefully with the next few years, the Cardinals will win their first super bowl title and when they do, weโ€™ll remember how you helped cement that legacy. Rest easy, Bill Bidwill. Youโ€™re gone but not forgotten.

Just thought Iโ€™d stop by as a fellow NFL fan. Bears. But still. Wanted to come over and pay my respects. Losing an owner of a team is never something anyone wants to go through. Our owner is on her last leg herself and someday this will be her so I wanted to say, out of respect for an owner of a fellow team under the same shield. RIP Bill.

As the only NFL team (ST. Louis Cardinals) near my hometown of Memphis, while growing up, I became a life-long Cardinal fan. It was the first sports team I faithfully followed over the years throughout my moving and living in seven states from the south, west coast, mid-west and east coast. I join the fans in extending my condolences to the Bidwell family and the Cardinal organization during this most difficult time. Rest in peace Bill Bidwell.
