Las Vegas Raiders | 2020 Draft Recap & Grades Review

In typical Raiders fashion, speed seemed to be priority No. 1 for general manager Mike Mayock and coach Jon Gruden.

The duo got things started with all-world athlete Henry Ruggs at wide receiver, following that up with other offensive weapons like Kentucky athlete Lynn Bowden and South Carolina’s Bryan Edwards.

In total, seven players make up the franchise’s first draft class in Las Vegas.

Here’s how pundits around the NFL graded the Raiders’ 2020 group

My Grades were pretty much identical except for the Bryan Edwards pick…I gave Bryan Edwards an A because he was actually projected to go in the 2nd round and we got him in the 3rd, and his film is off the charts! Dude has broken just about every WR Record help at South Carolina, he has made some of the most difficult catches I’ve seen in College Football, he’s not fast but he runs people over after the catch, his 50/50 ball skills are incredible, and he’s from the SCC one of the most competitive divisions in College Football. Edwards is a monster bro!

Also special teams picks are the types of picks that you need to make when you are close to having a filled out roster. There are three phases to an nfl team. Championship teams have studs on special teams.

To be honest I believe they drafted Tanner Muse to check these Athletic TE’s but I agree we should have got Tanner later if we could have

Edwards had subpar qb play and was still the most elite the school has produced and there were at least three pro bowl receivers that have came before him.

Will they stay healthy is the ultimate concern none of this works for Carr if these guys aren’t on the field and this happens to us every year.
