NFL Jacksonville Jaguars are moving to London? (one step closer)

Ninh explains ‘Jacksonville Jaguars are moving to London? (one step closer).

With the recent news that Shahid Khan is looking to buy Wembley Stadium (where the popular NFL International Series is held in London). This has changed the landscape of the National Football League. There is serious speculation whether the Jacksonville Jaguars could move to London, England permanently.

I think we’re a long ways away from a team in London. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the NFL playing a game in London almost every week soon though.

This is interesting! Good video! I know that there is a big NFL following in Europe. I met a lotta Euro Raiders and Seahawks fans at last year’s London Games.

What if CFL was to expand to Europe??
How would that change things? Could it work? Or are people only interested in NFL?

Do you think you could do a video on the works and/or logistics of the transatlantic and transpacific Super Rugby? If they have been pulling it off, maybe the NFL can pull off a franchise in Europe.

I agree with everything except the part where you say Austin and/or San Antonio doesn’t want an NFL team. The truth is they actually do very much so. For the few months that the Alliance of American Football was alive, the San Antonio Commanders dominated the league in attendance. The reason why they don’t have a team is because of Jerry Jones the owner of the Dallas Cowboys. Jones, aside of having the entire state of Texas outside of the Houston area by the balls, is arguably the most influential owner in the NFL (and also a wrinkly old snake). He doesn’t want a second Texas team outside of Dallas competing with his fanbase. So Jerry may not a team in those two cities but the cities (San Antonio moreso) does.

  21. G-MAC Johnson on March 11, 2020 at 10:52 pm

I think the NFL should put a team in Toronto Canada first it’s the biggest city in Canada and they already have a football stadium Rogers stadium it would be an excellent idea for an expansion team

  22. El Largan on March 11, 2020 at 10:52 pm

Lol as much as I love the nfl even if the jaguars did move here I would still be fans of the Los Angeles rams and the Las Vegas raiders. Sorry jags 🤷🏻‍♂️

  24. hyperblaster47 on March 11, 2020 at 10:54 pm

You have the Jaguares of Argentina play in the Super Rugby against Sudafricans, Australian and New Zealand teams. So that’s possible

  25. Coordinator on March 11, 2020 at 10:56 pm

Transatlantic teams. America needs one for the premiership rugby union league and they could spend three weeks in London and Three Weeks in New York.

  26. OnThe Gang on March 11, 2020 at 10:58 pm

Traveling to and I would holdout if I was playing going to London to practice

  27. VampireDucks on March 11, 2020 at 11:00 pm

"Monarchs" is a horrible name with political/ideological connotations. "Jaguars", recalling the awesome and beautiful species of South American big cats, is an incomparably better name. Yes, obviously jaguars aren’t native to London, but still. Or if not "Jaguars", "Foxes" or "Ravens"…

  28. Jason Gorman on March 11, 2020 at 11:02 pm

I wonder if they will pronounce it like jag yoo waars

  34. timmy D= on March 11, 2020 at 11:08 pm

Honestly if the NFL were to expand, they would do so into Canada. Canada though already has their own football league which is somewhat popular, so I don’t think the NFL really has a place to expand to. Its an American sport, and though it would be cool to have international competition, I seriously doubt American football will spread beyond our borders, if I’m being real.

  35. BirdyLegs on March 11, 2020 at 11:09 pm

Canadians have certainly heard of Rugby, I even played it in highschool.

  36. Ian Jones on March 11, 2020 at 11:10 pm

  38. Pansy Blackwell on March 11, 2020 at 11:13 pm

People in Jacksonville should wise up and purchase tickets. Or else, why did the league choose to come there in first place.

Why do Americans think the can take the best of footy stadiums and history and americanise it no ye I like the NFL but I’ll tell you this I’ll watch footy any day over NFL

  45. Ninh Ly on March 11, 2020 at 11:18 pm

Just to clarify to any butt-hurt Jags fans – I’m NOT saying that the Jaguars are definitely moving.
I’m saying that it looks more likely than it did three years ago, ESPECIALLY if Shahid Khan buys Wembley.
If someone could share this on Reddit’s NFL boards (or any other boards you might think), that’d be awesome.

If you haven’t figured it out,, this is the update from my last video.

Imagine a rivalry between an nfl team in London and Manchester

  48. Pansy Blackwell on March 11, 2020 at 11:24 pm

Would someone explain the logic of moving an NFL team to Jacksonville in first place? The only thing I see was for political reasons. The state of Florida cannot seem to get enough football teams.
I know the same commissioner was not the same, way back when. If it took two states to support a franchise, why then, did it only take one small city to get a franchise?

  49. The West is the Best on March 11, 2020 at 11:24 pm

They should move to San Antonio before they move to London. San Antonio is a bigger city than most cities with NFL teams and the people have a lot of disposable income through tourism, oil, and agriculture based economy

  50. iron road on March 11, 2020 at 11:26 pm

If the nfl starts putting franchises in other country’s then there NOT the national foot ball league anymore .The last time they were there they took a knee and stood for the gueen screwem!!!
