NFL- Patriots and Texans Clinch Divisions, Ravens Secure #1 Seed in AFC

Week 16 of the 2019 NFL season saw the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans clinch their divisions and the Baltimore Ravens secure the #1 seed in the AFC and claim home field advantage thru the playoffs. Also, the Saints and Chiefs kept pace trying to grab byes for the first weekend of the playoffs with victories over the Titans and Bears. The Cowboys lost to the Eagles and might fall out of the playoffs with a loss to the Redskins next week or an Eagles victory over the Giants. Also, the Steelers and Seahawks were upset by the lowly Cardinals and Jets which might cost Pittsburgh a shot at the playoffs and the Seahawks a first-round bye. The Bengals lost to the Dolphins to officially clinch the #1 seed in the NFL Draft next year. In the NBA, Isaiah Thomas received a 2 game suspension for going into the stands to confront a fan, but was he warranted? And in World Soccer, Liverpool won the Club World Cup with a 1-0 victory over Copa Libertadores champions Flamengo.
