Prime time game proves Chargers in L.A. is still not working

#Chargers #LA #NFL
Sunday Night Football gave a national audience a look at what a disaster the Chargers move from San Diego to Los Angeles has been. It was so bad that even Charger players were talking about how it felt like a road game in their own building. The Chargers in L.A. has been a complete dud. In this episode, why the NFL needs to recognize this mistake of relocation and what they could do to help resolve it.

Idiot spanos family and the nfl are dumb for moving chargers from san Diego to la that only worked for the raiders when they moved to la then back to Oakland but its a dumb move to move raiders to Las Vegas but they built them a new stadium but shoulda kept chargers in San Diego cause moving rams from st louie to la was enough.

A lot of people don’t Know this Baron Hilton paris Hilton’s grandfather the chargers original owner moved the team to San Diego after only 1 year in LA he saw that the chargers in LA was a bad idea it’s to bad Dean spanos was born without a brain LA on needs 1 team the RAMS

    Nobody’s fault except Spanos

  6. Jake Hernandez on February 26, 2020 at 8:58 pm

Im a chargers fan and I wholeheartedly agree with this. It was never a good move for the chargers to move to LA. Its embarrassing and sad…

  7. Swat on February 26, 2020 at 9:00 pm

Chargers belong in SD. That’s where their real fans are.
They just think LA will gobble up any team. If there’s no Chargers history in LA what do you expect?

  8. John C on February 26, 2020 at 9:00 pm

Yeah, they definitely should’ve stayed in San Diego, but they can still be a great team with or without fans. Go Chargers! ⚡️

  9. Michael Nunnery on February 26, 2020 at 9:01 pm

First of all I am a Steelers fan.

I agree that the Chargers should have stayed in San Diego.

The LA fan base has got a valid question.
What have you done for me lately?
The fans see Phillip Rivers getting physical on the sideline.

They have a right to ask.
Where were you 50 minutes ago?

Some fans will travel thousands of miles to cheer on a third string quarterback.
They will do everything they can to lift an injured banged up team.

A new stadium could easily become a barn.
With the Chargers unable to fill it.

  13. Louis Tanguay on February 26, 2020 at 9:06 pm

The Raiders were looking at San Antonio…what about the San Antonio Chargers? Actually, I heard a stat which stated that the NFL can have ZERO fans for any game and they’d still be hella profitable. So, the NFL doesn’t care about the Chargers not having fans. If anything, it’ll increase tourism to Los Angeles because it’s go near perfect weather, tons of fun things to do year round, and half of the residents are transients so they have other teams they follow if not the Rams. I live in LA and don’t see ANY Chargers fans. Granted they play in Carson, so it’s not even in LA, but it’s horrible. They should have had them play in the Rose Bowl in Pasadena or at UCLA’s stadium so they can be more in the LA area.

LA seems to prefer MLS and NBA over the NFL.

There are a lot of people saying the NFL doesn’t care because it still makes money no matter whose ass is in a seat. I beg to differ. This was a nationally televised Sunday night game (and I was there.) When the PA announcer exhorts the crowd, "Let’s make some noise!" and the resulting noise is an overwhelming chorus of "Boo!" the optics are bad. Repeatedly. That’s a nationally televised embarrassment, and the NFL won’t put up with that for long, nor should it. Send the Chargers back to where they’re appreciated, and tell those Spanos assholes to like it.

    San Diego remembers.

  20. KelMaster Construction on February 26, 2020 at 9:10 pm

I don’t get it, moving teams around. The Steelers will always be in Pittsburgh. As for the soccer stadium, The Steelers could play in high school field and the fans would take over, just as long as it was in Pittsburgh. When a team just up and leaves it’s hometown behind, Fans need time to acclimate, but LA is not like other places, it is full of self centered people that are too tightly packed together to be anything other than selfish, so it’s no surprise they don’t support the Rams, I mean the Raiders, oh wait I meant the Chargers.

LA isnt a football market. rams and chargers are a failure

  23. Snow Blind on February 26, 2020 at 9:15 pm

the NFL has moved more teams more times than any other major sports league..why is this? because the NFL does not give a shit about its city’s or fan bases..all this evil empire is out to increase its bottom line..its easy ,extort a city to build a stadium were the owners and league get most of the profits say no and we leave. Oakland loses the raiders twice,st Louis loses the cards and the rams..La loses the rams and the raiders…see a pattern..so i am happy as hell that spanos and the NFL are tanking in LA..the 650 million he paid to move the team would have helped with a new stadium in San Diego …and rams are not exactly setting the world on fire in LA also…it won,t help that they sucked this year and won,t make the playoffs. It is going to be a rough ride for the no fun league in LA..they deserve every bit it

  24. Edwin Martinez on February 26, 2020 at 9:16 pm

They need to move back to San Diego. Sam Diego deserves them back we in LA don’t care about the chargers plus the nfl didn’t approve the move a lot of owners were unhappy about the move. San Diego has a good fan base and the spanos family are the absolute worst.

  25. doeboyelsancho on February 26, 2020 at 9:16 pm

Every chargers “home” game is actually a *Home-Away-From-Home Game* for any team visiting them, that is pathetic and awesome

  26. Journal Wright on February 26, 2020 at 9:20 pm

Dean Spanos just admit you made a mistake and go back to San Diego.

  27. Jay Inquisitive on February 26, 2020 at 9:20 pm

Jerry Jones Dumb MOVE Why would you and the NFL and The NFL Owner’s vote against the RAIDERS coming to LA??? DiD you or Did you not know The Chargers don’t have a Fan base in LA?

  28. dopehousex3 on February 26, 2020 at 9:21 pm

Dean Spanos had 20 years to lure the Los Angeles market and he couldn’t do it. He got greedy once the Rams came back and he made the worst decision in sport history in my opinion by moving the team.

    ST. LOUIS CHARGERS!!!

  30. RJ Ante on February 26, 2020 at 9:21 pm

LA didn’t deserve a football team, let alone two.

  31. Kenro Saidso on February 26, 2020 at 9:25 pm

wat r u talking about. this is what it looks like everywhere steelers play. ok maybe not this many fans but i seen it b4

  32. Tyler Farmer on February 26, 2020 at 9:26 pm

I mean every time the chargers play at “home”. It’s at least fifty percent the other team. LA also isn’t a sports town. So they won’t be able to support two football teams. And if anything LA’s favorite sport is not even football. The chargers belong in San Diego. San Diego and the nfl need to figure it out

  33. Adrian Livar on February 26, 2020 at 9:27 pm

Bring Chargers to San Antonio Tx. We got a dome and fans desperate for football team.

  34. Ewalk3 Swagg on February 26, 2020 at 9:27 pm

The rams don’t got fan the 49ers take over there stadium

  35. This Guy on February 26, 2020 at 9:28 pm

I know there’s people out there that say well San Diego wasn’t filling up seats either but I want to be very clear on this San Diego dating back since 2009 has been mention moving the chargers to LA I have seen San Diego be filled up all the time with charger fans and I’ve seen firsthand that the chargers were loved in San Diego when you have an owner talking about moving many people will not buy tickets in those communities I’m not from San Diego but I’ve always seen San Diego as a good football market.. when you have an owner talking about moving since 2009 and the fans start not showing up then don’t blame San Diego and let’s not blame LA Either because they never wanted them. Move this TEAM back right now…Because in cities like New York and Los Angeles there’s teams and then there are bastard teams For example there’s the Dodgers then there are angels they are the Yankees and they’re are the Mets…The chargers in LA are not even considered a bastard team that’s how bad it is. Move them back.

Raiders will work in Vegas 😂😂😂 funniest thing I’ve ever heard they won’t last 2 years their

  37. kevin flaherty on February 26, 2020 at 9:29 pm

San Diego,or San Antonio, Portland,,they won’t survive in Los Angeles and this year they weren’t winning.

  38. JJ GARCIA on February 26, 2020 at 9:31 pm

The NFL should have either find a way to keep Chargers in San Diego or have Chargers go to Las Vegas instead of The Raiders … The Raiders back in LA would have worked better

  39. Cat Lover on February 26, 2020 at 9:31 pm

Agreed Fully….. Wasn’t a good move at all. I wonder who REALLY gained from the Move………!

  40. Froston1 on February 26, 2020 at 9:33 pm

This isn’t the first time it happened for the chargers, EAGLES fans took over that stadium in 2017

  41. rob cohen on February 26, 2020 at 9:34 pm

So if they move back to SD, where exactly will they play? SDCCU Stadium is going to be torn down in a few years and if the current proposal comes to fruition, will be replaced by a college stadium seating 35,000. If another stadium is built from scratch it will have to have significant public financing which San Diegan’s have been very reluctant to support. If the Spanos family sells the new owner will have to pay so much money for them that they can’t leave for a smaller market, plus the type of person that would pay that kind of money will most likely have a huge ego and will be convinced that he/she can make it in LA.

I think the Chargers and the NFL realize that it is a long term proposition to get a foothold in LA. They may never be the "first" team in town, but over time they can be a team that will sell enough tickets to be competitive in the LA market. Like the Clippers and Angels, who most likely will also remain the number "two" teams in the region, they do well enough, and most likely in the long run, so will the Chargers.

  42. SHONENJUMPGUY on February 26, 2020 at 9:36 pm

Wouldn’t really matter if the chargers moved back to San Diego or if they get a new stadium the away fans will always take over I’ve been to tons of charger games in San Diego and the away fans sold out the stadium

  45. K W on February 26, 2020 at 9:39 pm

    And…….. who cares

  46. zoom_62 on February 26, 2020 at 9:41 pm

They say San Diego wasn’t supporting them well let me say this I lived in San Diego in the 80’s went to Crawford High School the stands were filled with yellow Charger Power shirts the reason San Diego stopped supporting them is two reasons 1 the last few years they saw the writing on the wall and Dean and company crapped all over the fans.

  47. Archeluas V on February 26, 2020 at 9:41 pm

Problem is the chargers also had massive attendance issues in San Diego especially when they are not winning. They should go to St Louis or San Antonio – a place where they would be worshipped.

  48. Anne Francis on February 26, 2020 at 9:41 pm

None of this would be happening if the NFL would’ve given the Raiders first dibs on L.A. instead of the Chargers. L.A. wanted the Raiders NOT the Chargers. Next time the league should listen to their loyal fans and get their input on issues like this.
