Haha a football game is taking black people back???? Man this all we as black people accomplish????

  3. SuperPat88 on February 19, 2020 at 6:23 pm

Just yesterday, before 2018 ended, Cincy did the right thing AT LAST!! Marvin Lewis is OUT!!! MIRACLES HAPPEN!!

  4. Christopher Owens on February 19, 2020 at 6:24 pm

I don’t care the Bengals are still capable of making the playoffs with Marvin Lewis as coach.

  5. anthony PADULA on February 19, 2020 at 6:24 pm

Mike brown realizes the Bengals could easily turn into the Browns. People forget how bad the Bengals were before the hiring of Lewis. I believe they had 12 straight losing seasons before Lewis.

Anyone saying "but look at how bad the Bengals were BEFORE Marvin," guess what? That was **14** years ago.

Marvin’s job was to make the franchise respectable again. He did that. But once that’s accomplished, you either take the team to the NEXT level or a true owner/GM fires you and gets the next person. But Mike Brown is not a true owner or GM.

Only two current HCs (Reid, Belichick) have HCed more years than him. Belichick’s accomplishments speak for themselves and say what you will about Reid (and lord knows I’ve said plenty) but an 11-13 postseason record with a SB appearance and five conf finals appearances **dwarfs** an 0-7 playoff record.

Even more galling: there are only 25 coaches IN THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE LEAGUE with more years as HC than him. Repeat: *THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF THE LEAGUE*! 23 of those 25 coaches have at least one NFL/AAFC or NFC or AFC title in their career. And EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM won at least one playoff game in their careers.

People loved to give Marty Schottenheimer shit for underachieving. That dude was the Belichick of his era compared to Marvin!

And there, in fact, have been several instances where the Bengals underachieved with Marvin as HC. Their playoff losses to the Jets and Chargers come to mind. The 2006 and 2007 teams went 15-17 when both were playoff-capable.

I’m from Cincinnati and we absolutely hate Marvin as a coach. I think he’d be good up in the front office but obviously not down on the sideline. I don’t give a shit about what he does in the community because we’re talking about football here. If this guy was any where else, he would have been gone YEARS AGO!!! WE NEED A COMPLETE CULTURE CHANGE HERE IN CINCINNATI. Numbers do not lie people, he sucks.

  11. Shades Of Ali on February 19, 2020 at 6:31 pm

As a 🇬🇧 nfl fan i watch these videos sometimes and all this dude talks about is race wtf is wrong with him.

  12. Mark on February 19, 2020 at 6:32 pm

He was the best choice we had this year.. There was nobody good out there.

  13. b ryan on February 19, 2020 at 6:35 pm

I like Mike Brown like i like all my failed marriages

  14. cov ky1 on February 19, 2020 at 6:36 pm

Y’all forgot the Bengals was losing for 20 yrs str8 . Mike brown is a joke. O wow so if Marvin Lewis is setting black people back ,then wtf is Uncle Tom Stephen A. Doing

  15. Lady_K on February 19, 2020 at 6:39 pm

Marvin Lewis is the very definition of Affirmative Action.

  16. ラッパーPUNPEE on February 19, 2020 at 6:40 pm

Bengals should sign Cutler and compete with the browns next year for a first round pick. 2 0-16 teams

  17. SuperPat88 on February 19, 2020 at 6:41 pm

As someone else has said on this thread, I’ll second his/her sentiment(and mark it in *boldface* this time around), and post it as its own paragraph:

*The NFL(in general… and the Cincinnati Bengals organization, in this specific case) has become ridiculous- milk the fans to the maximum by making them finance everything- and then give them nothing in the end (no say and no satisfaction).*

In any other area of business, *SATISFACTION GUARANTEED* is the rule. Whenever you purchase anything at a store… be it a can of paint, or some food product, or some clothing, or whagtever else… a lot of these items are marked with those words… "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED." If the product or service you buy isn’t measuring up to your expectations, the provider is supposed to either make it right, or refund your money.

What would be nice is to see sports tickets come with SATISFACTION GUARANTEED as part of the verbeage. If your hometown team isn’t giving a competitive effort on that particular day or evening, then you go to the ticket booth and get your money back; no questions asked.

If they have to give your money back with other defective products, why not with a defectively-performing sports team? It’s a business transaction involving customer and purveyor, like any other transaction, is it not? Same principle.

  18. Shiv Ramdas on February 19, 2020 at 6:41 pm

So 2 of the 3 lowest attendance teams are in the AFC North? Man, thats gotta be the most trash division.

  19. Rayshard Robinson on February 19, 2020 at 6:42 pm

Uh Hello, no owner, or team gives a damn about their fans. Stop entertaining this illusion Stephen A Smith.

  20. jovita bosco on February 19, 2020 at 6:43 pm

Marvin Lewis that man is garbage

  21. Jordan DR.J on February 19, 2020 at 6:44 pm

I’m a Browns fan but I think what has kept him employed is just looking at what he has done since he took over in 2003, he took over the Bengals after they went 2-14 in 2002 and they were a car wreck during the 1990s, so they were accustomed to losing, then he turned that team into an 8-8 team his first season… he has been 500 or better in 10 of his 15 seasons… not terrible when considering from 1991-2002 they saw only 1 team with a 500 record or better… and that 1 team was an 8-8 team in 1996

  22. SuperPat88 on February 19, 2020 at 6:45 pm

2:48… Controversial? Perhaps. True? *MOST ASSUREDLY!!*

  24. Cincy fan Jungle City on February 19, 2020 at 6:47 pm

FIRE MARVIN LEWIS !!!!!!!!!!! Get him out of Cincinnati tonight !!!!! Stephen A. is absolutely right . Just get him out of Cincinnati and Mike Brown doesn’t care one bit about this team , this city , or us fans. Tonight’s game against K.C. just proves it. Other teams strive to be a good team , but look at us , and look at Cleveland Browns. I wish they would boycott him out period. This Is ridiculous , year after year , after year , and nothing but failure , and they are fine with taking our money for nothing but losing. He’s a fraud and a crooked money grubber period. I’m sick of it as a life long Cincinnati fan

  25. Kaze Jah on February 19, 2020 at 6:47 pm

Marvin Lewis got something on the Bengals GM and Owner, im tellin you.

  26. Delonte Duvall on February 19, 2020 at 6:47 pm

Stephen a.Smith is right we as Bengals fans need to accept that we have an owner who doesn’t care about winning

  27. guivenchi joinville on February 19, 2020 at 6:51 pm

Fire 🔥 him and get rid of Marvin Lewis

  28. John Love on February 19, 2020 at 6:52 pm

“AN EXTENSION??!!! THIS IS A TRAVESTY !!!” That’s honestly the reaction I was expecting from Stephen A 😂😂😂

  29. Charlito Guzman on February 19, 2020 at 6:55 pm

He’s cheap labor. That’s why Mike Brown keeps him around.

  30. Jay 619 on February 19, 2020 at 6:57 pm

Steven the reason why they extended Marvin Lewis contract is because we beat the Ravens we may not made the playoffs but at least we got the damn Ravens out of the playoffs so what you need to do is trust Marvin Lewis The Bengals and Cincinnati believe in him in somewhat way they give a damn about us but it’s just not enough to you I get this is your opinion but you don’t say nothing about a man has that has been doing this for 17 FUCKING YEARS

  31. riot storm on February 19, 2020 at 6:58 pm

It’s hard being a Bengals fan

  32. Gonzalo Capetillo on February 19, 2020 at 7:01 pm

  33. guivenchi joinville on February 19, 2020 at 7:01 pm

I agree ☝️ with SAS Marvin Lewis should’ve been fired a long time ago

  34. NOC1TIME on February 19, 2020 at 7:03 pm

    The Cincinnati Bengals

    Mike Brown Cheep Etc.
Same old mantra. All things in perspective .

Mike Brown has signed every consensus first round pick the Bengals have gotten. Mike Brown can’t control that a player is a bust .
Historically. The Bengals have been snake bitten with their over all first round picks.

Mike Brown provided Marvin Lewis with several top 10 NFL rosters. The Browns are but a few of the Family run teams still out there, and thats a good thing.
So mock and talk crazy of you need to. But those are the facts and they are undisputed.
The Cincinnati Bengals need an identity, and to get their collective heads on right. Too much talent there.

  35. Van Damnnn on February 19, 2020 at 7:03 pm

What the hell do Blanc ppl got to do with talking Sports

  38. Cincy fan Jungle City on February 19, 2020 at 7:06 pm

I was born and raised in Cincinnati , and I’ve been a Bengals fan ever since. I’m tired of all the excuses made for our team , from our team. I want some wins under our belt , because it’s not like we don’t have good talented players here , but I’ll tell u what the problem is . It’s the ownership , and how our team is ran period. TJ Houshmandzadeh spoke out on how our players are managed , and how they are treated , and they are treat very bad , and they’re not managed well at all. For heaven sakes , they hardly even supply our players will Gatorade , and players out drinking the night before the game . They are just mismanaged all around , and it begins with the owner of this team. I don’t want the Bengals to ever leave Cincinnati , and please don’t get me wrong , but we need a new owner . Leave the Bengals here , but get someone in here who wants to be a contender , and someone who respects our players. If Mr. Brown don’t respect the players of our team , he sure as hell don’t care about this city , or the fans that keeps this team going. Get Brown’s dumb loser ass out of here period. Rather than that , it’s WHO DEY for life . BENGALS NATION. We want Brown out of the jungle . Us fans will welcome a new owner with open arms. Just keep "OUR BENGALS" here in Cincinnati. WHO DEY !!!!!!!

  39. Cincy fan Jungle City on February 19, 2020 at 7:07 pm

Lewis u suck and I can’t wait to trash u tonight after the game when u give ur press interview. Lewis has been a plague for us here in Cincinnati. A 16 year plague

  40. Felix Romero on February 19, 2020 at 7:07 pm

Stephen A. forgets how bad they were before Coach Lewis. He above .500 coaching 15 seasons. Not everyone can win. He’s done a great job. Its not like they were favorites and he’s underachieved.

  41. Michael Keyes on February 19, 2020 at 7:07 pm

    Stephen A. Smith.
2-0 Bengals. Lewis is a lot better than you think.

Anybody else think the Rooney Rule is a bunch of bullshit?

  44. Jason Moore on February 19, 2020 at 7:08 pm

Can I be the Bengals coach for 3 years because I’m sure I can win at least 1 playoff game

  45. ericradford2142 on February 19, 2020 at 7:09 pm

Ya don’t say Stephen A Smith. The Bungles are the most polarizing franchise in NFL history.

  46. Augustin Sanchez on February 19, 2020 at 7:11 pm

The Beagles organization must be run by idiots to give Marvin Lewis a new contract.

  47. SuperPat88 on February 19, 2020 at 7:12 pm

I might be a Republican, and Smith a Democrat; this guy spoke the TRUTH! It’s one thing to "support the brother." It’s another thing when that "brother" isn’t performing even to a MINIMUM standard of expectations!

  48. Kirk Johnson on February 19, 2020 at 7:19 pm

bengals will never get sb championship

  49. Reece Samuel on February 19, 2020 at 7:19 pm

If anything Marvin Lewis gives hope to "black" people. finally a black person gets to be shity and still have a job.
    Cheers Philly! Philly!
