I wonder if Dan Orlovsky had trouble getting those ears into his helmet when he played in the NFL.

Here is basic problem with reducing a game to one player, Cam was dominated by the Broncos, did Cam have the level of weapons that Mahomes has in the Chiefs?

  8. John Zybko on June 23, 2020 at 11:07 pm

"Stopping Mahomes" … It’s doing what the Pats did… Keep him to only one good half… And then you have a chance. It’s hard though… Very very hard

  10. Omar Jamal on June 23, 2020 at 11:09 pm

i don’t get how people just gloss over the chiefs O line like we some scrubs or something, we got one of the best O lines in football. mahomes has all day to throw those long passes and if not he can scramble. i don’t care what the stats say 49ers played nothing but scrubs this year. the chiefs played the 5th hardest schedule in football beating 4 top 10 defenses this year and non of could stop our offense. when we had kareem hunt we were the number one team in rushing as well. let’s go chiefs

  11. penoyer79 on June 23, 2020 at 11:10 pm

    LOL I love how
ESPN has suddenly become the Pat Mahomes Hype Machine. The same network that forgot he existed this season during Lamar Jackson Fever. They emptied that bandwagon faster than a Baltimore Ravens playoff run. All the hyperbole is ridiculous. this game is coming down to whoever makes the biggest play in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter.

  12. Andres Asencios on June 23, 2020 at 11:11 pm

Matt Ryan choked when the falcons run game was stopped let’s see if Shanahan has wat it takes

  13. Randall Martin on June 23, 2020 at 11:12 pm

Defense and the running game win championships. So Niners will win fairly easily, 34-10.

  14. Micheal Austin on June 23, 2020 at 11:16 pm

For you to be the best you gotta play the best niners. Had the hardest second half of a season in nfl history on the other hand kc played 5 teams with a winning record an lost 3 of them look at how many teams they played that where under UNDER 500 8 teams they played was under 500 so how can you compare jimmy to mahomes cuz if you Compare the level of competition jimmy done just as good for us as mahomes is for kc and that stat that jimmy has over mahomes is the most important one of them all win percentage

  15. Bad Thumb89 on June 23, 2020 at 11:16 pm

I they would all quit saying that, they’re going to jinx us haha. It’s going to be a good game between two great teams. Finally a good superbowl

  16. Dan Paul on June 23, 2020 at 11:17 pm

    49’ers – 48 sacks on the season
Chiefs 45 sacks on the season
    Mahomes was sacked 17 times
    Garoppolo was sacked 36 times
Mahomes threw 5 interceptions and fumbled 3 times
Garoppolo threw 13 interceptions and fumbled 10 times.

    49er’s pass defense
    23 TD’s allowed – 12 interceptions – passer rating 83.0
    Chiefs pass defense
    21 TD’s allowed – 16 interceptions – passer rating of 80.8

  22. streight4lk on June 23, 2020 at 11:22 pm

Defense wins championships? What do 49ers fans think about the fact that KC is #7 in pts allowed, while SF defense is #8? Genuinely curious.

  23. Ramsey Kagak on June 23, 2020 at 11:23 pm

SF forgot to bring the fly swatter.

  30. Nicholas Trudeau on June 23, 2020 at 11:31 pm

Andy and Pat need to breakdown SB 50 and be prepared for what an elite defense does to contain a mobile QB and be prepared. Yes, 15 and Cam are not the same type of QB, but Pat needs to be ready in case he is not able to move around as much as he is used to moving.

  31. natbrain on June 23, 2020 at 11:33 pm

I decided to crunch some numbers because I’ve seen some people point out that the niners score more points than the chiefs, and then people say that mahomes was injured for a lot of the season as the reason why that is. So I looked at the 49ers and chiefs offense the past 8 games (including playoffs), beginning with the game one week after mahomes came back from injury. As we know, the chiefs won all their last 8 games. In that stretch, chiefs offense averaged 31.6 PPG, 357.3 YPG, and 5.97 Y/play, with a combined opponent win-loss percentage (based on end of reg. season standings) of 63-65. In their last 8 games, the niners offense averaged 31 PPG, 361.3 YPG, and 6.61 YPP, with a combined opponent win-loss percentage of 91-37. So even with a mostly healthy Mahomes (I left out that loss against the titans since that was his first game back), the niners offense has been just as good (maybe even slightly better), and against better competition.

  32. Damon Dolezal on June 23, 2020 at 11:35 pm

It’s a bad oline against one of the best dline it is not going to look pretty for Mahomes

  33. Omar Jamal on June 23, 2020 at 11:35 pm

your running game is all scheame and your running back is a scrub who got cut by other teams before. andy reid knows shanahan running scheme real well and andy beat that scheme most of the time we played em. mahomes faced seatle cover three scheme 4 times already this year and more in the past. we got this game on lock chiefs by 2 touchdowns.

  34. John Holzhall on June 23, 2020 at 11:36 pm

Nice to hear players speak about systems and methods…they should send Greenberg to get coffee

  35. Howard West on June 23, 2020 at 11:39 pm

Everyone thinks Mahomes is untouchable and that will be their downfall. Hopefully they go in thinking no matter what they got it. Twice they’ve gone down quickly in the first half and rallied back but can they do the same against the SF defense?

They may get too comfortable thinking they can get out of the box slow and still have a chance. Let is hope that’s the case and watch as they force plays which leads them deeper in the hole. SF is coming in as an underdog with everyone claiming they can’t be Mahomes and it works in their favor. Honestly it is better to be the underdogs when everyone is acting like Mahomes is a god and praising him like he is unstoppable.

  36. JRM 33 on June 23, 2020 at 11:39 pm

I like how the cast is diverse but also segregated at the same time. lol

  37. Great Wayne Productions on June 23, 2020 at 11:42 pm

Are you serious the Niners are going to get smoked in the Super Bowl

  38. lance blank on June 23, 2020 at 11:43 pm

Did she just asked if 49ers can stop kc offense? Did she watch any of 49ers games? Wonder which game she been watching

  39. piss off on June 23, 2020 at 11:43 pm

The NFL as a business wants a Kansas City win. So watch the referees and the penalties that call again San Francisco

  40. bamf bhart on June 23, 2020 at 11:44 pm

I think the 9ers have more experience against QBs who extend plays more than any team they gameplan murry Wilson both twice year gameplanned Lamar this year held him in check so mahomies isn’t anything new to the 9ers defense guys

  41. Sharon Sims on June 23, 2020 at 11:45 pm

Swago you was wrong the chiefs won

  42. Lawrence Hiaman on June 23, 2020 at 11:48 pm

Niners will win but the chiefs will make a fight till the end ,but niners will just barely get the victory. 🤗

  43. Kevin Alexander on June 23, 2020 at 11:49 pm

Well, Dan was right. 4 big plays broke the game.

  44. Matt Schwab on June 23, 2020 at 11:50 pm

The guy to the right is making the best points. Why is the guy to the left screaming. Like bro, we can see you were a QB before stop yelling. W that said. Chiefs win by 6

  45. Elbo Macaroni on June 23, 2020 at 11:50 pm

Colts beat the Chiefs 19-13. Lions put up 30 points on them the next week. Then the packers beat them 2 weeks after that 31-24. They also lost to the Titans 35-32. They are not invincible.

  46. Taylor on June 23, 2020 at 11:51 pm

Is it just me or did Dan (for the first 30 seconds of this vid) just look pissed off that and wanted to disagree with the comments being made?

    Sherman is gunna get torched

  48. Mark 1 Mil on June 23, 2020 at 11:54 pm

Win or lose Mahomes is something fresh and exciting in the NFL. To me and if you know the history, Mahomes is the Joe Namath of the modern age.

  49. Mark Young on June 23, 2020 at 11:54 pm

Chris Jones Frank Clark Terrell Suggs are going to have field day with the 49ers run game 3 and out it will fall on jimmy OMG

  50. arronnov on June 23, 2020 at 11:55 pm

Here’s the thing about comparing Cam Newton vs that Bronco defense and Pat Mahomes vs this 49ners defense, Mahomes is the better passer. He was better passing in college and he’s better passing in the NFL in his third year.
