Why do other teams take such offense to things such as potential championship parades being pre-planned? That’s standard for EVERY team. So is trash talking the opponent. Why is it whoever wins has to somehow be “mad” or “motivated” by the actions of other teams when they are also doing the same things they’re “mad” about?

2004 was a long time ago. Nobody remembers 2004. 41-33 everyone remembers

1:26 ~ 2:17 Bill Belichick warned the Patriots about would-be Eagles victory parade…though back in 2005. And that’s how he motivated the Patriots to beat the Eagles the next day. Though in hindsight, the parade route was exactly 13 years later, another Eagles’ parade route, and this time, Eagles are the CHAMPIONS! And they beat none other than…Belichick’s Patriots. So, Belichick literally "predicted" the Eagles’ parade route 13 years ago, haha!

Early 2000’s Patriots were absolutely stunning. Brady couldn’t have come into a better situation as a young quarterback, decent wide receiver core and a great defense. Brady’s passion to win completed one of the greatest Patriots teams that may ever exist.

Bill Belichick going from playing catch in the parking lot with his son in 2004 to actually legit coaching with his son in 2019.
And they still have the same QB together. Truly remarkable.

  21. Blank Frost on March 7, 2020 at 11:26 pm

How coindicental it is that the last time they won 3 in 4 the last one was vs the Eagles and both coordinators leave and this year they have a chance to win 3 in 4 years against the same team with both coordinators speculated to leave. The similarities between this years Super Bowl and the one 14 years ago is insane.

Let’s compare Super Bowl 39 and 52 real quick. Patriots third Super Bowl appearance in four years. Patriots were wearing the away jersey both times. They were both against the Eagles. Now let’s look back at 38 and 51. Both were 2nd Super Bowl wins in 3 years and were played in Houston. Both times Patriots went 14-2. Super Bowl 38 was against the Panthers, which is an NFC South team and so were the Falcons from Super Bowl 51.

  39. Travis Naeseth on March 7, 2020 at 11:48 pm

And they’re going to do it again! I’m a Cowboys fan so I’d rather die than root for the Eagles!

I thought that was a picture of Belichick celebrating in the thumbnail, but I quickly corrected myself and remembered that Belichick never celebrates.

  48. Ryeland Stevens on March 7, 2020 at 11:54 pm

A cornerback was playing wide receiver and a linebacker caught a touchdown wow.

  49. digitalgr8ness on March 7, 2020 at 11:54 pm

The 2018 Eagles are much better than 2004. Andy Reid was a horrible clock manager. Donovan McNabb threw 3 interceptions and was puking his guts up from nerves. Not to mention the controversy with T.O. and the drama he brought to the locker room, even though he was a crucial part of getting them to the Super Bowl. He played his heart out with that injury. McNabb was not a leader. He could never lead that team to success. T.O. had the passion to win and most of the team supported him over McNabb. There always seemed to be some major ego power struggles between the two. The 2018 team doesn’t have that drama. They are much better, closer and way more complete. The Patriots better not take this 2018 team lightly. It should be a good game!
