I agree with them get rid of that fucking one helmet rule. Bring back the classic uniforms. I’m not a Pats fan and hate them with a passion but that Pat the patriot helmet is probably the best logo of all time. No ashamed in admitting that.

White helmet and red jerseys would’ve been cool, a nod to the past. These are just atrocious. The “new” Browns uni’s are better than these, and I’m a Steelers fan LOL

Why are all these uniforms called new?
Umm it’s simple, because it takes time for a helmet to be broken in, they use the same helmet through OTAs and training camp so by the beginning of the pre-season the helmet is broken in and 100% formed to the players head. if you change helmet mid season the break in process needs to start over.

The stupid 1 helmet rule I think was established in the previous CBA and the reason for it was “player safety” and they can’t prove that it made any difference in the reduction of head injuries anyway. If college teams like Oregon can use a wide variety of different helmets a year without any real issues then NFL teams can AT LEAST have 2. I’ve been bitching about this rule ever since it was written and thank god, it’s nearly over.

That doesn’t look "classic but modern", that would be the case if they went back to the great Pat Patriot uniforms, these just look bad. A good example of classic but modern is the Browns new uniforms.
